Outreach & Events

Our Outreach team builds connections, increases safety awareness, and supports vulnerable community members through neighbourhood events and local partnerships.

What we do:

• Local & Neighbourhood Events: We host our own community events and participate in neighbourhood initiatives by setting up outreach booths, running interactive activities, and providing volunteer support to help local organizers run their events smoothly.

• Space Activation & Tabling: We table throughout the neighbourhood to activate community spaces and connect directly with residents. We promote safety campaigns (e.g., e-scooter safety, construction zones) and partner with local businesses—sometimes hosting them at our booth or giving away items like coffee to engage the public.

• Quarterly Donation Drives: Once a quarter, we place donation boxes at various neighbourhood locations for a week, culminating in a main "donation drive" tabling day. We collect and distribute these essential in-kind items to community members in need through our programs.

• Soup Kitchen Outreach: We host a dedicated table at a local soup kitchen to hand out donations and provide vital safety information and resource referrals to anyone who needs support.
