Mount Pleasant Acts of Kindness Week: February 10–17
This Valentine’s season, let’s come together to show our love for the Mount Pleasant community! Join us for Mount Pleasant Acts of Kindness Week, a chance to make a big impact by helping local youth in need.
We’re collecting hygiene products to support the Broadway Youth Resource Centre, and there are multiple ways for you to get involved.
How to Donate
📢 Donations will be accepted starting February 10th!
1. Drop Off Donations at Our Office
You can drop off hygiene product donations at our office anytime during Acts of Kindness Week:

📅 Dates: February 10–17
🕘 Hours: Regular office hours
2. Visit Participating Businesses

3. Join Us for a Special Donation Day
Be part of our Donation Drop-Off Event at the Save-On-Foods parking lot in Kingsgate Mall:
📍 Location: Save-On-Foods parking lot, Kingsgate Mall
📅 Date: Saturday, February 15th
🕘 Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
As a token of our appreciation, we’ll be handing out slices of cake to everyone who donates during the event!
What to Donate
We are looking for new and unopened hygiene products, including:
- Menstrual products (pads, tampons, liners)
- Washcloths, towels, wipes
- Shampoo & conditioner
- Body wash, soap, lotion
- Razors, combs, brushes
- Dental hygiene products (toothbrush, toothpaste, etc)

Your contributions will directly benefit the Broadway Youth Resource Centre, helping provide essential items to local youth in need. Together, we can create a stronger, more supportive community.
