Information & Referral
Our office serves as a welcoming, accessible community hub where residents and visitors can find support, report neighbourhood issues, and access vital safety resources. We invite everyone in the community to drop by and say hello!
What we do:
Accessible Community Support: During our office hours, community members can connect with us in person, by phone, email, Instagram, or WhatsApp. We are here to listen to neighbourhood concerns, take reports, and seamlessly connect people to the best resources available.
VPD Neighbourhood Officers: We work alongside two dedicated Vancouver Police Department (VPD) Neighbourhood Officers. Whenever complex or specific policing matters arise, they are directly available to guide our team and support our community.
Volunteer Development & Event Prep: During office shifts, our volunteers assist with information and referral services while utilising their unique skills to keep our programs running smoothly. They help us prepare for upcoming events and campaigns by designing safety pamphlets, researching resources, and creating promotional posters.
Safety Articles & Blogs: To expand our educational reach beyond the office, our volunteers research and write informative articles and blog posts. These pieces focus on timely safety topics, crime prevention tips, and community resources to keep neighbours informed online.
