What is a Community Partner? Why should I join?
The MPCPC invites local businesses to join our efforts to improve community safety and participate in community initiatives.
Joining our partnership is always free, and it allows businesses to stay informed and to connect with the residents of Mount Pleasant.

Once a business owner/manager completes the sign-up form, our volunteers will stop by the business within 1-2 weeks to drop off a ‘Welcome Package’. This package will include a decal to be placed somewhere visible. After that, updates about the MPCPC, including information on workshops and community events, will be emailed to the business owner/manager to stay informed.

When this happens, we ask that you contact us, and we can provide you with resources and options on how to report this. We can guide you through the reporting process to the BIA or the city, and connect you to different resources.

Any business within the Mount Pleasant BIA is able to join our Community Partnership program.

Volunteers will bring it to your business in our welcome package upon signing up for our Community Partnership program

Our workshops come in two forms. Our volunteers can come to your business and train your staff or you and your employees can come to our location. We offer workshops on deescalation, how to be good witnesses, and how to report.

We offer them once a month, but they are also available upon request to accommodate your business schedule.

Once you sign up, our volunteers will come to your business and drop-off a personalized welcome package based on your business needs, and it will include the Community Partner decal.
