A big shout out to the Mount Pleasant community for the overwhelming response and support for the 70 plus people who lost their homes in the devastating apartment building fire on E 10th. The contributions filled an empty store which was  generously donated by Kingsgate Mall.  Community volunteers worked with Mount Pleasant CPC and Business Improvement Association staff to sort, display and assist the evacuees. MPCPC hosted our first road safety Booth

On July 15th the MPCPC was involved in its first event, the Mount Pleasant Park Festival sponsored by the MP Community Centre. The MPCPC hosted an interactive game focusing on children’s road safety. During July the MPCPC partnered with ICBC at three events specifically to teach children about road safety. Thank you ICBC for the sponsorship.
